I'm sure you will be all too familiar with parts of my story, so don't stop here and keep reading!
Standing Tall and Proud as a young girl, I always struggled to find clothing, much like many of my tall sisters out there. I would go shopping and walk out of the shopping mall at the end of the day empty handed. Not because I didn’t like anything I saw, but because nothing was made for my body. I have always loved being tall, but being overlooked by mainstream fashion brands would have any teenage girl feeling very insecure.
In 2023, It makes my heart smile to see so many emerging brands that cater to my body because we are just so underrepresented.I always had the idea to start a clothing brand for Tall girls like myself, however life took over and I just never got to it. That was until I fell pregnant with my daughter in 2021.
Now you guys know the struggle is already very real

I lived in hoodies and leggings for my wholeeee pregnancy. I didn’t want to go out or have people come over because I just didn’t feel put together enough.
The perfect idea came, Why don’t I make fashionable yet timeless outfits for pregnant women like myself, because I know for sure I am not the only woman struggling with lack of options. It was very important to create clothing that can be worn even after pregnancy, because why spend money on clothing you can only wear for 6/7 months if that! Can I get an AMEN!!
This is how Raffe (short for giRAFFE 🦒🦒🦒) was born. A brand that caters to pregnant women specifically but can be worn by all tall women pregnant or not due to how they are designed. The brand is size inclusive , however we aim to extend the sizing even further as we grow.
As we know, a lot of brands carry Tall sizes, however being a size UK20 & 6ft tall whilst pregnant seemed like asking for way too much. We all know this feeling of finding a shop that caters to tall women, then filtering by size only to see it stops at a UK 14/16!! Ohh the heartbreak.
My daughter (the reason Raffe was born) is guaranteed to be a Tall girl and she cannot grow up with the lack of options I did. Raffe is my first step in the right direction.
